description: | Code: About: kDiskCleaner is a small command line based program that removes unwanted files from a hardisk. It was originally made to remove Mac OS system files that gets written to a disk when connected to a Macintosh machine. When you connect a disk to a PC after being connected to a Mac you can see all these systemfiles, like "FINDER.DAT", "TheVolumeSettingsFolder", "Desktop DB" etc. After manually deleting these files for a period of time I decided to write this program that does it automatically. How to use: You can specify which files kDiskCleaner shall remove by chosing a module from the ".ini" (initialisation) file. You can also create different modules, so for example if you want to remove all "test.txt" and "temp.txt" files from your hardisk you can create a module that does this. Examples: kDiskCleaner -m mac -r -s M: Will clean volume 'M' for all files and folders with names specified in the "MAC" module. kDiskCleaner -help Displays the help |
